The OrionGroup completes a hat trick with major global contracts won in recent months

The OrionGroup, Scotland's largest engineering recruitment specialists, have been asked to assist with the recruitment of up to 15,000 construction professionals for the creation of a major tourist destination in Abu Dhabi.
The development is set to be one of the Gulf's major attractions with a planned population of 120,000, eight world-class hotels and fast link rail network to the international airport.
"These are good jobs in a hugely exciting project – and it completes a hat trick for us of major global awards won in recent months."
Two months ago Orion won a three-year contract for an undisclosed sum to supply hundreds of workers to the 10 billion dollar Shell Pearl gas development in Qatar. It will make Qatar the world leader in converting gas to clear, valuable liquid hydrocarbon product.
And the month before Orion won a 150 million dollar contract to supply 200 UK engineering and technical staff -- mostly Scots -- to the Sakhalin Island oil and gas development. Sakhalin, a Russian-owned island off the coast of Japan, is the world's biggest energy project and will heat and light Tokyo.
Chairman Alan Savage said:" In all three contracts, our accreditation and reputation has ensured our success. We're proving we can sustain and expand a global business from our base in the Highlands."
Orion recently opened a £4 million new HQ in Inverness which created 40 new jobs.
